Homecare Independent Living

We have the following staff working within our Personnel Department:

Joan Boylan, Personnel Manager
Ruth Moore, Personnel Officer
Joanne McGuigan, Personnel Officer.

Joan has been with the Company since 2002 and her background has been in personnel management where she worked in Retailing and Manufacturing companies in London.  Her role is managing the personnel department which includes recruitment and selection of Head Office staff, discipline, grievance, counselling, pay and conditions, contracts, succession planning, morale and motivation, performance appraisals and quality management issues.

Ruth has been with the company in March 2008 and has recently just got married. Her previous experience has been within Personnel.  Ruth has recently completed her CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel Development).  She is responsible for the recruitment and selection of care staff in the Belfast, and Homefirst areas, ensuring that all processes are in place before new staff commence employment with Homecare.

Joanne joined the Personnel Team in June 2008 however prior to that, Joanne completed her 1 year student placement in the Homecare Personnel Department.  She has recently graduated in Business Studies with Human Resource management and hopes to complete her CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel Development) next year.  Joanne is responsible for the recruitment and selection of care staff in Newry and Mourne, Craigavon and Banbridge areas as well as the South of Ireland.
