Quality Recruitment & Staff Training PDF Print E-mail
As we develop, we are ever mindful that we are in a position of immense trust and responsibility with our clients. Homecare’s mission statement reiterates the fact that “Homecare will contribute to the development of a caring society by promoting Client independence and having a positive impact on the lives of the people we care for”

In light of this, our commitment is to ensure that staff of all ages and backgrounds have access to learning. We believe that learning will help us all to meet the demands and challenges we face in delivering a high quality service, hence our continued commitment to our programme of NVQ Level 2 for our care staff.

When we recruit in Homecare, we look for people who display an inbuilt respect and value for human dignity, want to treat others well and want to learn how to do this to the best of their abilities.  Hence we have embraced the new Induction Standards introduced by the Northern Ireland Social Care Council. We are certain that these standards will improve our quality of service. In order to achieve this, we have created a new post for a Training and Quality Manager to bring forward these quality initiatives.  This post will commence in August.
